We add a small amount of natural binder to the cremation ashes and mix it all together. The mix is then hand-formed into pebbles. Once the pebbles are hard, we start the polishing process. The pebbles are polished to a matte finish.
The process takes 3-5 days. We may have a wait time of which we will notify you as promptly as possible.
No. We process each pet's cremains 100% individually. At no point in the process does your pet's cremains come in contact with other pets' cremains. We have a stringent process control system in place.
Our current process allows limited control over these features. The size, texture, shapes and color are unique to every pet.
The pebbles are about the same hardness as a natural stone pebble. They will not break by dropping them on the ground/floor. You can however break them with a hammer if needed.
The color is the natural color of the cremation ashes/cremains. This color is unique to every individual pet. We do not add any color to the ashes. Our natural binder does not contain or introduce any color either.
The number of pebbles depends on the amount of cremains provided. A dog (depending on the size) will yield anywhere from 3 to 40 pebbles. A cat will yield about 3 to 8 pebbles. In general an ounce of cremains will make one medium size pebble.
Yes. We use all natural binder that is environmentally friendly.
Preserving the complete quantity of cremains during the process is our top priority. Nonetheless, a loss of very small trace amounts of the cremains does occur in some of the stages of making.
Once the order is placed, we will mail you a collection kit to retrieve your pet's ashes. The kit will contain everything you will need including the return shipping label.
